Training and Reporting for a Global Agency

This major global development organisation required a reporting solution to cover both internal management reporting, and reporting to external sponsor organisations. Sponsor reporting was particularly demanding to meet the needs of ensuring prudent use of funds. Integra set up a number of queries and balance tables, and a set of Excelerator reports to meet these requirements.

In addition Integra provided comprehensive, in-depth training courses for the organisation's IT staff. The training covered the design and structure of the database as well as the interrelationships between database and application, and how to use Crystal reports, SQL and Excelerator with the application.

Integra also provided an overview of the fixed assets module, and advice on how to put the module into production.

RAC had numerous accounting packages it elected to consolidate onto Agresso.  We trained our core team on Agresso and would use this team to bring knowledge of our business and its processes to the implementation.  We had no desire to hire to meet the highest staffing needs.

Initially we turned to Integra to meet our temporary staffing needs but in reality gained much more.

Integra ended up understanding our business and processes and aided the core team to increase their knowledge.  A true knowledge transfer.  They became part of the team but exited then in true professional style.

National Grid ESIS  |  Sun Accounts implementation

We engaged Integra to assist us with the implementation of a new financial system as part of a major business process re-engineering exercise.

Integra provided project management of the implementation of the Sun Accounts and Sun Business products throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to post-implementation review. Integra were also responsible for vendor management, and the gaining of internal audit approval from the National Grid’s internal auditors.

The project included integration with a Timewatch time recording system, and was implemented for over thirty finance, and three hundred timesheet users. Integra’s expertise and commitment ensured the smooth running of the project in an environment where securing internal resources was often challenging, and ultimately that the system was implemented on time and to budget.

System Selection for a Leading Services Group

We asked Integra to assist us in selecting an ERP system as part of a major programme designed to move the group from portfolio management towards a more integrated management style. We commissioned a report to evaluate and compare a number of ERP systems which we were considering. Integra drew on their own experience, and that of industry associates to produce a report, which compared and scored the systems against a set of assessment criteria. The report, which was produced to a very tight deadline, was impressively comprehensive, addressing areas directly relevant to our organisation and focusing on the key differentiating factors which we would need to consider.

Procurement System Design and Deployment

We have used Integra to help us to get the most out of our Agresso system since 1998. The largest project Integra have helped us with was the implementation of Agresso’s Purchase Order Processing (POP) module across over 40 university departments. The university is a community of departments with quite diverse purchasing requirements and prior to implementing POP each department had its own stand alone purchasing system.

Integra organised a series of configuration workshops and were able to reconcile the differing POP and Inventory Management needs of the various departments to allow us to achieve a configuration which gives us a unified picture of procurement across the University.

Integra also assisted with the data migration, wrote a suite of reports and enquiries around the solution and trained the trainers for a training programme for over 800 procurement and inventory management users.

We were impressed with Integra’s commitment, their level of application knowledge, and the effort they put in to achieve a real understanding of the University’s culture and requirements. They made the software work for the University in terms of the University’s capacity for change as well making it work technically.

A consultancy independent from the software provider provides a broader perspective and Integra has a feel for procurement management in practice. The University has been able to extract information from the system which has directly assisted us in leveraging greater savings in partnership with our suppliers.
