“Powering the Economy”, the Association of Colleges (AOC) annual conference & exhibition at the ICC Birmingham opens tomorrow.

The Government’s message “Sustain the recovery and build productivity” highlights the increasing role that Colleges and Further education establishments will play in the success and prosperous future of the economy and business in the UK.

The AoC conference will pinpoint some of the challenges that the Education sector can expect to confront in the coming months and the opportunities to create growth, well-being and success in business and for future students.

Breakout sessions play a key part of the success of the AoC conference covering a wide range of topics including Careers and Progression, Labour Market Intelligence and Delivering effective entrepreneurship education.

The event attracts over 100 suppliers to showcase their products and services including Unit4, a leading supplier of Student, ERP, Finance and HR solutions, exhibiting in Hall 3 (Stand 22) at the conference.

The AoC conference is also a time for celebration, with the AoC Beacon Awards, FE Oscars and the Student and Student photographer of the year being announced during the gala dinner.
