An early adopter of our Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Making Tax Digital solution, Kingston University have been an Integra Associates customer since 2016, when we first helped them implement Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Financial Management & HR and Payroll.
Since then we have continued to supply services and solutions to them, including most recently our Making Tax Digital solution. We discussed with them why they decided to opt for our solution, as well as much more, including their review of the solution so far...
Integra Associates: Could you explain a bit about the problem you were trying to solve with our Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Making Tax Digital solution?
Kingston University: We were looking for a solution that would allow for full compliance with Making Tax Digital, and that didn't rely on us having to export data.
Where did you first hear about our Making Tax Digital solution and what features made it stand out compared to others?
We first saw the solution in action at a Higher Education Special Interest Group (SIG) in 2019.
The solution was presented very well and looked easy to see. Being able to use the reporting we currently held within the system seemed like the best option for us. The fact it was not a bridging solution was also a major plus.
How did you find the process of implementing the solution using the accompanying installation guides?
Once the initial set-up was done, we found the guides extremely useful and often referred to them throughout our testing and implementation.
We had to raise a few queries but they were mostly initial best process related questions.
How have you found the level of support you have received from our Unit4 Business World (Agresso) Support Desk as part of the accompanying annual maintenance & support package?
Kirsty Graham, a member of the Support Desk, provided us with great and timely support and was always available to help.
Overall, how effective do you believe our solution has been in helping Kingston University ensure Making Tax Digital compliancy?
The solution has been a success and allowed us to make successful submissions to the HMRC.
To date we view the solution to have had a very positive outcome.
